MP Gallant presents locally made, Natural Health product to Health Minister
September 10, 2009
Cheryl Gallant, MP presenting Federal Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq with a sample of "Deep Immune" from St. Francis Herb Farm COMBERMERE, ONTARIO… MP Cheryl Gallant, (Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke) was pleased recently to present a sample of “Deep Immune” from St. Francis Herb Farm to Federal Health Minister the Hon. Leona Aglukkaq. During the annual constituency clinic held this summer in Palmer Rapids, Gwen Coish from the farm paid MP Cheryl Gallant a visit & relayed how scientists at the well established natural products manufacturing company have a Health Canada approved tincture to stimulate the body's immune system. “Our Federal Health Minister was very pleased to receive the samples of Deep Immune, courtesy of local Ottawa Valley business St. Francis Herb Farm,” remarked Cheryl Gallant, MP. “A number of people have allergies which preclude them from being vaccinated. In the absence of protection from disease in the usual manner, a sector of the population relies upon natural alternatives.” Deep Immune is marketed as a great nutritional adjunct for ongoing vitality and wellness. It reinforces the innate "deep immune" response within us, maintains physiological and psychological equilibrium, nourishes the bone marrow and is extremely useful for auto-immune and immune deficiency disease, by helping to overcome low immunity with frequent or chronic infections and by keeping up the white blood cell count during chemotherapy. Flu vaccines are developed based on calculated predictions. Due to the need to prepare flu vaccines well ahead of the seasonal arrival of viruses, it is difficult to guarantee 100% effectiveness. A natural boost to the body's immunity system may be one way an individual may choose to prepare against itinerant illnesses. A news report had been circulating about a company wanting a government grant for research and development into an immunity enhancing product. This prompted MP Gallant to contact our local health product manufacturer to see if it was also working on a solution. To her delight not only does our local business have a product to boost protection against disease, but it now comes in capsules in addition to the original liquid form. Founded in 1985, St. Francis Herb Farm was the culmination of their deep-rooted desire to help others. After several years spent growing herbs, they were inspired to develop products for the naturopathic profession. Within months, word spread and created a growing demand for their products. Today, the herb farm supplies a number of naturopathic doctors and healthcare practitioners, health food stores, and natural pharmacies throughout Canada and internationally. |
